Announcement--Project Manager
(South Hamilton, Massachusetts) (June 10, 2009)----Dr. Haddon Robinson, President of the Theology of Work Project, Inc.,  announced today Cheryl Kilgore has accepted assignment as Project Manager for the five-year effort.  She joins William Messenger, Executive Editor, as one of two professionals hired to provide services to TOW. Cheryl provides direction to the administrative side of the Project, including managing budget and finances, correspondence, conference and meeting logitistics, vendor relations. The Project Manager's role, like the Executive Editor, is a temporary assignment, existing until the Project's research and writing efforts are completed and presented for ratification. The Theology of Work Project is a multi-national effort to develop a database of work/faith principles and to make workplace theology a vibrant part of the Body of Christ.
 
Cheryl is also President of Desired Haven Ministries, responsible for the day-to-day activities of that ministry. Her professional background includes business marketing and administration for Digital Equipment Corp.,  as well as a period managing a law office. Cheryl began her career as a public school teacher. Before her present work at TOW and DHM, Cheryl also served as Children's Ministry Coordinator for a church in Massachusetts. Cheryl was the driving force behind the idea of a Christian school in central Vermont, and she and her husband Randy (a workplace chaplain) joined three other couples to found Rutland (VT) Area Christian Schools, now a thriving part of that city's education alternatives for over fifteen years.
