Grace and Works Interact in Business (Video)

Video / Produced by partner of TOW

Emily Moon realizes that God’s grace, which is unconnected to her work performance, pushes her to do good works. Running a business gives this Christian entrepreneur connections and opportunities she wouldn’t have otherwise.

Transcript:

I think even this year I’ve realized that God doesn’t love me because of what I do. He loves me just because of who I am. And we don’t have to do good things to earn God’s love.

But faith without works is dead. And so, I think as we realize God’s love for ourselves, it plays out in the work of our hands.

I feel like grace has pushed me to go places I never would have otherwise. And if it wasn’t for the business that we were operating and running, I wouldn’t have made all the relationships that I’ve made.

Business is awesome because it widens the area and it widens your relationships. It gets you to go places you never would have gone before, talk to people that you never would have talked to before, and it allows you a reason to engage with somebody in a really special way.
