What exactly was Ted’s value? In meetings, he seldom spoke. He wasn’t the idea guy. He appeared to add nothing.

On the day of the big presentation, the team leader aimed her remote control toward the projector, clicked, and…nothing. The room fell silent.&nbsnbsp; All anyone could see was impending failure. But wait, Ted was walking to the main laptop. He leaned over and executed several clicks. The projector came alive. Bright slides appeared; they were in business.
