I love pro basketball, and the Spurs are my team. Their success was always related directly to David Robinson's scoring. David received the most criticism and also the most acclaim. But after years of his carrying the team on his shoulders, a great new talent joined the Spurs, and David was asked to move from high-profile offense to concentrate on defense. For the good of the organization, he accepted his new position – and the Spurs won a NBA championship.

How about you? How would you react in your workplace if this happened to you?

This is Howard Butt, Jr., of Laity Lodge. Regardless of the position, be willing to sacrifice for the benefit of the team. That attitude is vital in the high calling of our daily work.

Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.
