Redefining Work by Tim Keller (Video)

Video / External content not produced by TOW Project

Tim Keller lays out a theology of vocation. What was God's original intent for our work? How does everyday work fit in with God's work? What makes it difficult to work in our fallen world? How can we overcome those difficulties in Christ?

This video also serves as an illustration of Psalm 147:13 ("For he strengthens the bars of your gates") in the Theology of Work Bible Commentary.

This talk was given at The Gospel Coalition's 2013 Faith at Work Post-Conference at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando. Special thanks to The Gospel Coalition.

A Note from Tim Keller

"The Theology of Work Project is providing desperately needed resources to pastors and the entire church on what the Bible has to say about our work. I hope that every pastor will preach regularly on how the gospel changes the way we work and sometimes the work that we do. And I hope that every Christian will see the ways their work connects to God’s work!”

Tim Keller, Senior Pastor, Redeemer Presbyterian Church, New York City and author of Every Good Endeavor: Connecting Your Work to God’s Work
