Bless the Servant
Blog / Produced by The High Calling
They are all around us every day – the modern servants. We don’t call them by that title, but men and women by the millions serve us at the coffee bar, in the big box retail store, or in the office building late at night with vacuum in hand.
And if you have ever worked, or are currently working in, a position like this, you know all too well the frustration, the monotony and the demands that are put upon you.
Ann Kroeker writes of a man who delivered her shingles. Rather than just let him perform his duty in anonymity, the gregarious High Calling Family Editor engaged him in conversation. She found out that he needed a good word. Read A Turn For the Better to find out how we can affirm those whose labors cross our paths.
