The day is almost over, and you're still in your cubicle, tinkering with spreadsheets. Humdrum work, you say? Think again. Sheila LaGrand offers a refreshing perspective on the ways we can honor God when we are thorough and attentive to our daily work. She calls it being "in task," rather than simply "on task."

"I could do this spreadsheet with my eyes closed," she writes. "On this day, though, I chose to do it with my eyes open."
