Our conversations these days are guarded. We’ve been trained not to offend, so we skirt around every hot button topic, often including matters of faith. Because to the person without any walk with God, things like righteousness, the narrow path, and right living all can offend. There’s no way around them.
But Nikole Smith Hahn asks over at Bible Dude, "what about truth?"
"It’s important for a Christian to stand for something, using concise words,” she writes.
Even if you are at polar opposites of an issue, “Good words can form good relationships,” Nicole says. “Every day that I interact with people I am learning when to speak. When speaking won’t change what they do, I revert to prayer for that person and myself. “
