God created all things, and they are good. Each new day, God is at work in this world, continuing to create.
As human beings, we share in God's creative work. He entrusts us with a garden to till and tells us to care for all creation (Genesis 2:15). Thus our work and creativity joins creation's ongoing work.
To see our labor within God's creativity is to find new meaning and joy in daily tasks. "There is something beautiful in work well and precisely done. It is a participation in the activity of God . . ."
Gracious God, remind me today that you call me to share in creation.
Help me see my daily tasks' value and spread joy through my work. Amen.
