That sent him to his Bible. Toward the end of the story, Job unloads on God, after which God gives Job His perspective. Job concludes: "I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted." With a wry smile, Craig bowed his head…and soon got back to work.
This is Howard Butt, Jr., of Laity Lodge. Trusting in God through hard times may never change circumstances, but it surely can change us…in the high calling of our daily work.
“I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted. Job 42:2
