Sharing SuccessAudio / Produced by The High Calling
Karen was confused. Certain people at work seemed to fly up the corporate ladder. What about her? Here’s where Karen had options. She could fume and nurse bad feelings. She could openly complain. She could give up. Or she could learn from the people doing well.
When she talked with them, what did she find out? For starters, those doing well were generally unselfish. Not one of them appeared to step on or over a coworker. People going up, Karen saw, help others get somewhere too.
This is Howard Butt, Jr., of Laity Lodge. The strategy isn’t to look out for yourself only. A winning strategy is to spread the success around. To get your share, help others get theirs . . . in the high calling of our daily work.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well.
