Investing in God’s People in Uganda

Investing in God’s people in Uganda
Which is more important; giving food and money to people in poor countries, or trying to make a buck from them? Former CEO Andy Mills thinks profit is better for poor people than aid. So he goes to the city of Arua, Uganda, twice a year to teach basic business, marketing, leadership, and finance to men and women who want to start small businesses. He and his partners even make small investments. What’s his biggest challenge? — most churches in Uganda teach their people that business is bad. But attitudes are changing as people see that they can do business on biblical principles, serve their communities and provide for their families.
