Theology of Work Project News: Book Release in October 2014
Hendrickson Publishers Partners with Theology of Work Project to Publish Books on Faith and Work
PEABODY, MA—Hendrickson Publishers and the Theology of Work Project have formed a unique partnership to publish a new line of books about faith in the workplace. The content, born from a team of scholars, pastors and businesspeople for the website TheologyOfWork.org, has never before been in print, and the first titles under this collaboration are scheduled for release in October 2014.
The Theology of Work Project is an independent, international organization dedicated to researching, writing, and distributing materials with a biblical perspective on work. Its mission is to help people explore what the Christian faith can contribute to ordinary work, and it is developing resources for the most significant topics in today’s workplace, such as calling, ethics, truth and deception, motivation, compensation, and more.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Theology of Work Project,” says Rick Brown, publisher at Hendrickson. “It is producing outstanding resources for anyone who works and wants to study what the Bible says about their job. Together we’re looking forward to offering great resources in the coming years; books that will teach and inspire anyone in any workplace.”
Hendrickson Publishers has a strong history of producing outstanding academic, trade, and reference books at a reasonable price. Products include books on Christian living topics, biblical studies and reference works for both pastors and thoughtful laypersons, and many of the Christian classics.
The Theology of Work Project is thankful for all those who have contributed to the vision of providing deeply researched Biblical content that encourages Christians to live out their faith in the everday work place. Book titles will be announced later this year.
